How to Create New Habits

Last September I began my first Kundalini challenge as a gift to myself for my birthday, a 40-day Kundalini sadhana. During that time I experienced rapid changes in my life such as natural weight loss, cutting sugar out of my diet without a struggle, thousands of dollars came to me and so much more. There was no way I could ignore all of the miracles happening and so I extended my 40-day sadhana to 90-days.
This was the beautiful beginning of many new healthy, positive and life changing habits.
Yogi Bhajan gave us a very special technology relating to habits with Kundalini Yoga. Every single kriya or meditation in Kundalini Yoga changes us in very specific ways. If you practice a kriya a few times, you receive a wonderful benefit. But if you want to permanently change your habits, and realize the full effects of the kriya, this is what you can do:
Practice a particular kriya, meditation or mantra every single day for the same amount of time. Based on the number of days you do this, here is how it will affect your habits.
40 Days: Practice every day for 40 days straight. This will break any negative habits that block you from the expansion possible through the kriya or mantra.

These apps allow you to track and check off your new daily habits, and a reminder alerts you when you haven't checked it off for the day. This one tool has helped me drastically.
